Brother and sister team, Pete and Rachel Jarvis formed Exhausts UK in 2004 to continue building upon the successful career which their parents enjoyed in the exhaust industry.
Their father Philip Jarvis was a Burgess Exhaust agent in motor spares from 1968, before in 1974 opening Ascar Exhausts centres throughout Yorkshire, the final branch in Sheffield was subject to a compulsory purchase order by Sheffield council in 2004 to make way for a new road system.

It was at Ascar that their Father was one of the first specialists to import the American ‘Blue Boy’ exhaust pipe bending machine.
Pete brings years of knowledge and exceptional technical expertise which has been gained from years spent at grass roots level in his parents company, after joining Ascar as a school leaver in the early nineties.
Honours Law graduate Rachel came to Exhausts UK with a broad business background and a diverse range of skills which makes for a successful team with her brothers’ more ‘hands on’ approach.
A few long serving staff members followed Pete and Rachel to Exhausts UK when Ascar closed and to this day some old values remain, as there is a strong focus on commitment and loyalty between staff, management and the owner family.
